Arizona Alzheimer’s Advocacy Day 2025

Empowered and inspired after attending another annual Arizona Advocacy Day with the Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association! This impactful event brought together advocates, legislators, and community leaders to champion the needs of those living with dementia and their caregivers. We heard updates on key legislation and took action by meeting with state legislators to push for meaningful change.

Alzheimer’s affects millions:

🧠 1 in 9 people age 65+ are living with Alzheimer’s.

👩‍👩‍👧 Women make up nearly 2/3 of those impacted.

👨‍👩‍👧 Over 11 million Americans provide unpaid care for loved ones with dementia.

With over $430 million invested in research, the Alzheimer’s Association is paving the way for progress. Advocacy matters, and together, we’re building a future without Alzheimer’s. 💜
